A control panel is a web-based graphic interface that allows you to manage various aspects of your web hosting service. Some examples of what you'll be able to do using this type of a software tool are file and email management, DNS records editing, URL forwarding, etcetera. As there're many control panel brands, the services that you can manage are also different and can also depend on the features that the web hosting company offers. For example, you may have a certain option in one control panel and not in another, or it may take more steps to perform some task. Such a tool offers you the option to use a point-and-click interface instead of typing commands with complex syntax in a command line. Even though some users would rather have the aforementioned option, the majority of users welcome the easier level of administration that a control panel provides.

Multiple Control Panels in VPS

If you decide to get one of our virtual private server solutions, you will get as many as three different control panels to pick from based on the Operating System that you select and what requirements you have. Hepsia, for example, is the easiest to use one and it will allow you to handle all your websites in one place in addition to renewals and support tickets, so if you need more computing power, but you do not have a lot of experience, this would be the right choice for you. If you would like to have more control or to generate individual internet hosting accounts on the server, you can pick cPanel or DirectAdmin. Both of these control panels are more advanced and a VPS installed with either of them gives you full root access. They both include reseller levels as well, so you can create your own internet hosting business.

Multiple Control Panels in Dedicated Hosting

If you decide to order one of the dedicated server plans that we provide, you'll have three control panels to choose from for your machine. The easiest one to use is called Hepsia and it's in-house built. It'll allow you to perform everything in a single place, so even when you have little or no experience, you will not have any difficulties to handle your web content, domains, payments or support tickets with no need to log into a separate system. Hepsia also has the most user-friendly interface. In comparison, the remaining two control panels - cPanel and DirectAdmin, are more difficult to use, so you need better technical skills to properly use them, but they will give you increased control over various server settings and will allow you to host every domain in a separate account. The latter option makes these two control panels ideal for launching a reseller business and selling hosting accounts to other people.
